Taz previously lived with 2 adults and 2 small children as well as another dog. The owner stated Taz will play with the small children but can be overwhelming because he is young and exuberant. The owner mentioned Taz gets aroused by cats and may give chase to play. It was reported by the owner when Taz is home alone at times he engages in destructive chewing but owner states it is not common and he is also house broken. At intake Taz had loose body posture and allowed all handling. During SAFER Taz came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, he was friendly and social towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Taz was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Taz was easy to handle when engaged with the items.
