08/18/2015 PET PROFILE MEMO
08/18/15 20:26 08/18/15 20:26 Basic Info: Tatiana is a 9 year old spayed female pit-bull mix. She is described as being a very loyal and gentle girl. Social Life and Personality: Tatiana is relaxed and playful with children that she knows. The daughter of the former owner is 8 years old and grew up with her. Tatiana has not been around other dogs for a few years. She is very well house trained and is kept mostly indoors. Tatiana at 9 years old now has a lower activity level. This dog is playful yet mellow. Behavior history: Tatiana never minded if someone she is comfortable with would touch her food bowl. If you take a toy away from her it takes her a minute to realize that it’s not part of a game. She knows how to sit, come and knows what “go outside” means. For a New Family to Know: Tatiana is used to being in a backyard and going for two walks per day. She loves large Kong toys and anything that squeaks. Tatiana will challenge anyone to a game of tug-a-war. She will lose but she loves to play! This beautiful dog is used to dry food and fish oil to keep her coat shiny and nice. Behavior during intake: This dog was soft body with tail wagging for the entire intake. She did pull a little on the leash. The dog knows how to sit and stay. She allowed me to collar her and take her photo without an issue

08/20/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Tatianna walks calmly on leash. She was sociable toward the handler during the assessment – soft body, low wag but became stiff and uncomfortable during paw handling raising her lips and giving a low growl. Tatianna was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. She was not interested in food, toys or rawhide. Tatianna shows a bit of concern during some of the handling items. The behavior department feels that she would do with an experienced adopter who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment. We also recommend a home without children. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Tag: 2. Dog is fearful but unresponsive when touched. Approaches the Assessor when the game ends. Dog is likely crouching, may have long lip or lip lick. Squeeze 1: 4. Dog growls. Food 1: No interest. Toy 1: No interest. Rawhide: 1. No interest. When off leash with other dogs Tatianna allows brief greeting but will lip curl and offer defensive correction when approached any further.
