Behavior around cats is unknown. Owner reports Taco is housebroken and goes on wee wee pads. Owner states Taco likes to follow him around and loves any Toy he is given, loves to play tug of war. During intake, Taco had a stiff body but jumped up and put paws on admissions counselor’s lap. After owner left, Taco hid behind counselor and barked at children in the lobby area. He did calm down and settle, allowing counselor to collar and handle. He snapped and bit at the leash when attempting to walk to kennel. Taco was unable to come out of kennel for SAFER assessment, extremely agitated and biting at the leash each time it came close to him.
