PROFILE:
Starr is a white and gray female Shih Tzu who was surrendered at ACC today. Starr is approximately two years old and she has recently lost the use of her back legs. Starr was able to use her front paws to walk and will undergo a full physical health exam. Starr is also spayed. Starr is described as being friendly and affectionate.
Starr has been socialized with children but has not been socialized with cats and other dogs. She is relaxed respectful and tolerant when she is around children. When she is interacting with children she is gente affectionate and well behaved. She is an indoor dog who is house trained and rarely has accidents in the house. She is described as being playful confident affectionate mellow independent and friendly. She has a medium level of activity and she is nervous when she hears loud noises. She knows the commands sit and stay.
Starr is not bothered when you place your hands by her food and is not bothered when you take her toys or treats away from her. She is not allowed on the furniture and she is not bothered when she is disturbed from her sleep.
