What a pretty girl Sophie is! Very medium size, wrapped in a shiny chocolate and cinnamon dress, sweet hazelnut eyes and a triangular little Labbish face framed by floppy ears. Sophie was scared upon arrival but quickly learned that she could make friends with staff and volunteers and even with her own kind here at the care center. Slowly she came out of her shell, forgot to be hand shy, accepted a scarf and yesterday, she was already on my lap… She likes to be caressed and enjoys treats that she takes very gently from my hand. She walks nicely on the leash and eliminates as soon as we leave the building. She seems to have been a mother quite recently. Her puppies must have been as cute as china dolls. Sophie is an absolute sweetheart who comes now when called, sits by my side, real close and looks like she will be, if given a chance a wonderful, gentle, loyal and affectionate forever companion. Ask for our little Sophie, here at the Manhattan Care Center , spend time with her and make her yours.
