A volunteer writes: When Snoopy’s primary care taker went off to college, the rest of the family wasn’t able to care for him and brought him to our care. What an awesome dog he is! We’re told he’s housetrained when walked regularly, lived, played, and was relaxed and tolerant with two children ages 2 and 7, enjoys baths, likes to play fetch, chase, and with balls, knows ‘sit’ and ‘come’, slept with his person, and is well behaved when left home alone. He seems to have a shoe fetish and will chew shoes if left unattended, so when you adopt Snoopy put your shoes away :). He showed me how housetrained he is, peeing endlessly as soon as we were out the door and we head to the park. His unique markings and easy swinging tail gets him a lot of attention, and he quietly met a man who wanted to meet him. Off leash he happily plays with a squeaky toy, wags his tail hard at two dogs in an adjoining pen (his former family tells us he initiates play with other dogs and loves them), and then comes back to me when I call him. Beautifully groomed, well fed, social and low key, Snoopy is hoping that a new person or family comes to meet him today. Acing his behavior assessment indicates he’ll be a good fit in just about any home. Yours?
