I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 09/26/2015 from NY 10002, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

09/26/15 12:26 Basic Information Snoop Lion was brought in as a stray after a client found him tied up in the street. Client kept him overnight, and stated that while around his young son he was tolerant but not too social. Client says Snoop Lion was friendly. Behavior during Intake Snoop Lion was calm during intake. He allowed staff to pet him, and pick him up for photo. Snoop Lion allowed all handling, and showed no signs of aggression during intake.

09/29/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – AVERAGE
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Snoop Lion walks calmly on leash. He was not sociable, and was more interested in the surroundings than the handler during the assessment. Snoop Lion was calm and relaxed during handling. He was distracted, focused on objects in the room rather than the handler during the tag test. Snoop Lion did not resist being handled while eating, and was easily pushed out of the food bowl. He was not interested in toys or rawhide. Snoop Lion did not show any concern during the behavior assessment. The behavior department feels that he can go to an Average home. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted, with tail wagging and ears back. He allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, his eyes are averted, and his tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 2. Dog is not fearful, but is unresponsive to the Assessor, and approaches the Assessor at the end of the game (may need coaxing to approach.) He is focused on stimuli other than the Assessor. Squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his paw. Food: 1. Dog lifts head and ceases eating when you reach to pull the bowl away Toy: 1. No interest. Rawhide: 1. No interest.
