A volunteer writes: Sir Charles told me to dispense with the formalities and just call him “Charley”! So, Charley it is…my new waggy tailed friend. He’s a handsome fellow, a bit too thin, in his shiny black coat. We head to the park after he went potty the moment we were outside, showing off lovely leash manners as we walk together. His tail wags at all, he loves meeting other dogs in the park, and seemed to love a tiny Yorkie met through a fence. In group he greets, plays briefly and is tolerant of others. Posing for pictures like a pro, he ignores the squirrels scurrying about, paying attention to me
and the treats in my hand. Charley is so easy I don’t worry about tethering him to a fallen branch for more pictures, and after our photo-shoot he’s in my lap for kisses and snuggles. He rocked his behavior assessment, and when the team gave me a thumbs up saying “he’s good”, it confirmed everything I thought about this awesome pup. Mellow, well behaved and easy, my friend Charley is looking for a new best friend….. shouldn’t it be you?
