07/31/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Simba walks calmly on leash. During the look item he freezes and do not let the assessors handle him he was growling loudly expose his front teeth, and snapped at the handler. We stopped the handling part for safety reason and moved on with the resources. He was not interested in food, toys or rawhide. Simba approaches the helper dog with his tail at spine level, body not stiff, ears relaxed, lip long. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Look: 5. Dog freezes Food 1. No interest. Toy 1. No interest. Rawhide 1. No interest. Dog-dog: 2.
