Basic Information
Sid is an 8yr old neutered Shepherd that has no past or current medical issues according to the owner.
Social Life & Personality
Sid has been around children and plays with them in a gentle manor. He also has been around dogs and presents in the same manner as if he were with children. Sid has been around cats but doesn’t interact with them and seems more tolerate of their presence. Sid is an indoor only dog that is house broken. Sid is described to be friendly, playful, and Mellow with a low activity level.
Behavior Issues
Sid doesn’t have any guarding issues and this applies to food, treats, and toys. These things can be taken away without issue according to the owner. He takes well to all grooming agents except for nail trims. The owner isn’t sure how he would respond to having this done due to never attempting to trim the nails.
For a New Family to Know
Sid knows a few basic commands like down, shake paw, and come. He went for slow walks on a leash and this was done twice a day. Sid doesn’t have much interest in dog toys but will play with a bone ever here and there. Sid has been crated and is used to being in one. He was crated for a minimum of 4hours a day. When in the home Sid is the type to just be in the same room as you. When left alone in the home he is well behaved and this also applies to being left in the yard. Sid was brought up eating dry food and the brand the owner gave was pedigree.
