A volunteer writes: Introducing Shay, the Wonder Dog! She ‘sit’s, she ‘begs’, she cuddles….she’s fabulous! Giving me a soft look while wagging her tail as I approached her kennel I knew I’d fall in love with this stunning little girl. Her lush black coat gleams with good care, her leash manners are outstanding, she went potty as soon as we were out the door, and poses for pictures like a super model. Shay sits when asked, and then goes back on her haunches for an upright sit, sometimes extending her paw, waiting for her treat. So cute! She takes her treats super gently, and her gorgeous brown eyes look into mine. Off leash in the back she’s in my lap for some cuddles, played with a rope toy for a short while bringing it onto the bench to share with me. With other dogs in group she greets politely then solicits and engages in play. Calm and low key, everything about Shay is polite and respectful. Even when showering me with kisses she’s soft and gentle and I couldn’t get enough of this awesome pup. Shay cordially and respectfully invites you to come meet her today as she knows she’ll be an amazing addition to your family.
