Medical Summary Scan pos Tail caught in the gate S/O: Appearance: BARH Integument: hair coat with older scaled pyoderma, normal nails EENT: OU clear, AU clean, No nasal d/c Oral cavity: MM pink, CRT <2sec, Healthy dentition with mild tartar, bark is hoarse and squeaky at times PLN: WNL H/L: No murmur or arrhythmias, Lungs clear ABD: Soft non painful, U/G: M/S: Amb x 4, tail wrap removed – actively bleeding last cocygeal vertebrate visible with soft tissue over and around it BCS: 5/9 Neuro: NSF NOSF Woods lamp neg, DTM taken A: Tail tip avulsion with tail tip wound P: Tail tip may dry but likely may bleed again then remove bandage and E-Collar PPG 3.5 cc Clavamox 375 mg + 125 mg PO BID 14 d Rimadyl 75 mg PO SID 7 days Soaked tail tip in warm betadine for hemostasis, dried then Vet wrap bandage placed

Wiggelbutt alert !! Shadow is looking at me with begging eyes…His rump  and tail get most of my attention, though…I am getting dizzy…Enough….Yes, you are coming out, we are going to the yard. Let’s meet other people, other dogs…I know that you love company….Shadow is a very pleasant pooch to spend time with. He is young and beautiful despite his perfectly treatable skin rash. His coat is silver grey and shimmers in the sunlight. His eyes are two lively topazes. His weight is perfect. He walks nicely on the leash and eliminates as soon as we leave the building. He sits obediently on command and takes treats very properly from my hands.  Shadow gets all excited seeing other dogs. He so wants to meet. He wiggles, twists, squirms, gives a little bark….He does not understand why I am not opening the gate. He so wants to play….I am so sorry, Shadow…Be patient…You will soon have your chance at playgroup. Shadow is with us as  his care became to costly for his family. He comes with outstanding recommendations and is known to love children, other dogs and be very sociable. Here at the care center, he has been very welcoming of staff and volunteers , seeking hugs and caresses whenever he had the opportunity. Shadow is truly a LoveBug…He is housed at the Manhattan Care Center and dreams to meet you, charm you and leave with you as your loyal and loving forever best friend.
