Medical Summary Scan pos Tail caught in the gate S/O: Appearance: BARH Integument: hair coat with older scaled pyoderma, normal nails EENT: OU clear, AU clean, No nasal d/c Oral cavity: MM pink, CRT <2sec, Healthy dentition with mild tartar, bark is hoarse and squeaky at times PLN: WNL H/L: No murmur or arrhythmias, Lungs clear ABD: Soft non painful, U/G: M/S: Amb x 4, tail wrap removed – actively bleeding last cocygeal vertebrate visible with soft tissue over and around it BCS: 5/9 Neuro: NSF NOSF Woods lamp neg, DTM taken A: Tail tip avulsion with tail tip wound P: Tail tip may dry but likely may bleed again then remove bandage and E-Collar PPG 3.5 cc Clavamox 375 mg + 125 mg PO BID 14 d Rimadyl 75 mg PO SID 7 days Soaked tail tip in warm betadine for hemostasis, dried then Vet wrap bandage placed
