05/15/2010 WEB MEMO
A VOLUNTEER WROTE: This two year old Patterdale Terrier is just a squishable, cuddly guy … sort of like a stuffed toy, all 46 pounds of him. He’s solid as a rock, a short, squat, square cutie pie. His coat is a gorgeous brindle, it literally gleams in the sunshine, and he has that adorable round, big-eyed face. Great during his photo shoot out in the back pen, he met up with and did great with, another squishy roly poly guy, Capone. His walking manners are just fine, too, not bad on the pulling at all, and he did wait till he got outside to go, and then went FOREVER, a good sign he’s housetrained. How this handsome, well maintained little guy came in as a stray is anyone’s guess, for surely he’s been taken care of and been in a home, somewhere. But he’s homeless now, with an uncertain future. This guy’s a multi colored gem, friendly, sweet natured and not too big at all, except in the personality department. We all think he’s very special, and needs that special person to train him, exercise him and love him forever. Scott Foley deserves it … all shelter dogs do …
