Hi, I am Roxy but call me …Nana. Indeed , I am a nanny dog…I had six children to watch over and made sure that nothing happened to them..like they were my own puppies….I played with them too..We had lots of fun… I like dogs, even the little ones and my best friend was my housemate, a Minpin. Sadly, my family I adored is homeless and I had to move into this big place called the Manhattan Care Center, full of strange people and other pooches…I am just a dog…I have to go with the flow, listen and comply like the good girl I have always been. I have met nice ladies and gentlemen who walk me, feed me tasty treats (my weakness..I am a little tubby) and hug me a lot. I give them kisses back. It reminds me of my loved ones….of ..old times….They have this weird thing they call playgroups…I got to mingle with some of my peers. It was cool but I have to see a little bit more, understand the rules of the game and then…I can go all the way.  Better to be careful when you are new somewhere…. That was Roxy talking…Now, my turn…I love Roxy, a calm gal(she is only one and a half year old), well mannered and very gentle. She is really sociable and friendly, welcoming anyone, human or dog , with a wagging tail and a hopeful smile.  She is always it seems ready to give anyone the “benefit of the doubt”..Such a great attitude, such survival skills.. Good genes, certainly but also, I think, proper upbringing…Roxy was a pet, not a “thing”. She was loved and respected and if she is with us , it is really not her owners’ fault. Roxy who is already spayed and aced her behavioral evaluation is a top dog, a family dog who will fit in any kind of setting. Whoever will adopt her will have many years of sunshine, loyalty and love and don’t ‘s we all need it ? Come and meet Roxy at the Manhattan Care Center. She is waiting for her new job…..being you forever best friend..
