Roxy reminds me of an exquisite bronze sculpture. She is a beauty, an elegant damsel ! Her eyes are mesmerizing and never leave mine. Her coat is so unusual with its delicate markings. Roxy has been so well cared for since she was adopted from another shelter at the age of 4 month. Her family is moving to a place not allowing dogs and it is for us, now , to find a new home for Roxy. Roxy is a little skittish but a friendly gal who needs just a short time to get accustomed to her caretaker. It does not take long for her to sollicitate caresses and come on my lap.She can be petted all over, even her little footsies. She comes when called, sits on command and jumps high for treats like a kangouroo. It is amazing to see how agile and bouncy she is. Roxy lived and played well with children. She needed slow introduction to strangers and other dogs but warmed up quickly to them. She is known to be housetrained, crate trained and well behaved. She is described by her owner as a very loyal dog!!! Roxy is quite a catch, a gorgeous live piece of art, a friendly and sweet little gal who will make an owner or family delighted to have her in their home. Come and meet Roxy at the Manhattan Care Center and take with you as your forever best friend.
