ROXY – A1035072

Beautiful Roxy is quite a majestic sight…Such a gorgeous representative of the breed, so perfectly made, healthy, very well nourished and wearing the lushest coat. She seems so ready when I present myself at her door. Leashed in a sec, we are quickly out of the building and in for a brisk stroll around the block. Roxy relieves herself at once and listens carefully to my cues. As i want to know her better, we aim back to the care center and its yard. Roxy acts like she has known me all her life….She is friendly, comes when called(she knows her name so well) and sits on command but rather for treats that she takes properly from my fingers. She seems to like my caresses and gives little licks on my hand in return. When other dogs, big or small approach our pen,  Roxy stiffens a little and aims for her peer. She gives a bark, gets a little worked up , relaxes and comes back to me….Roxy’s former owners related to us that she needed time to get used to new faces , humans and canines alike. Something to take into consideration and probably to work on for the lucky person who will adopt Roxy and make this lovely girl,  his or her forever best friend. Roxy is waiting  at the Manhattan Care Center, ready to start her life again…with you
