08/26/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPNOCHILD
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Rocky previously lived with 3 adults and 4 growing teens. The owner stated Rocky is playful with family members. The owner mentioned when he encounters cats on his walks he will try to chase them. It was reported by the owner Rocky is house broken and when home alone he is well behaved. The owner stated Rocky does not guard his food but he may guard his food with people he may not know. At intake Rocky was resistant to handling and fled from the rope but showed no signs of aggression, he allowed all handling. During SAFER Rocky came into the assessment room calm and curious, he was a bit social towards the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Rocky was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Rocky was easy to handle when engaged with the items. Rocky repeatedly attempts to exit between items. Rocky showed no interest in any of the resources but due to some concerns with Rocky may having resource guarding issues with people he may not know according to his previous owner, so the behavior department feels he can be suitable for an experience adopter with no children.
