09/24/15 15:02 Basic information Razzles is a female Gray brindle American Pit-bull Terrier with no known medical conditions. Razzles was found wandering loose in the street and came up to finder when she was called. Finder stated that Razzles was very sweet and friendly. Behavior During intake During Intake Razzles was very curious of her surroundings. When approached by counselor Razzles had a loose wiggly body and came forward to greet counselor. Razzles allowed to be collared scanned and have her picture taken with ease.

09/26/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – EXPERIENCE

Razzles came in as stray, so her past behaviors in a home are unknown. At intake it was reported Razzles was curious at first but approach the counselor with soft body posture and allowed all handling. During SAFER Razzles came into the assessment room loose and wiggly, she was friendly and playful with the assessor, allowed all handling items to be conducted without issue. Razzles was relaxed during the tag interaction, and during the resources portion of the assessment Razzles was easy to handle when engaged with the items. Razzles appears to be a high-energy dog that will likely do best with an adopter prepared to provide mental and physical stimulation and appropriate outlets for his energy, she can be somewhat rough during play and not knowing her own size. The behavior department she can be suitable for an experience adopter with no young children. Look: 1. Dog’s eyes are averted. Her ears are back, her tail is down, and she has a relaxed body posture. Dog allows head to be held loosely in Assessor’s cupped hands. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 1. Follows at end of leash, body soft. Squeeze 1 & 2: 1. Dog does not respond at all for three seconds. Her eyes are averted and her ears are relaxed. Food: 2. Dog follows the dish with her tail down, body likely a bit tense. Dog lifts head after a bit of pressure from hand to cheek. Toy: 1. No interest. Rawhide: 1. No interest.

She is tolerant of mounting. 9/30 update: Razzles greets politely and shows interest in interacting with other dogs but continues to be primarily focused on interacting with the handlers. 10/1 update: Razzles greets the other dogs politely and will offer appropriate corrections for mounting.
