07/22/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Rava was difficult to remove from her kennel she was in the back of the kennel, exposes her teeth with a fearful body language. She is fearful of the shelter environment he walks with a low and fearful body language makes her body look small by hunching over and getting low to the ground. He holds his tail tucked and do not let the assessors handle her. During the look Rava was giving a low growl and exposes her front teeth. We stopped the handling part for safety reason and move on with the resources. Rava was not interested in food, toys or rawhide. She does not approach other dog, attempts to exit. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that she would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Look: 5. Dog freezes and growls Food. No interest. Toy 1. No interest. Rawhide 1. No interest. Dog – dog 2. Dog does not approach the helper dog. Turns body to side in relation to other dog, or exits. Helper: A1044430
