A volunteer writes: All hail the Queen!! It’s actually hard not to, as Queen is a little bundle of happy energy in her sausage shape body and wagging tail. Playful, energetic, happy with people, happy with dogs, happy with everything, I found myself wearing a big goofy grin just watching her have fun. Her tail wags as we walk, she poses for photos adorably, snorts when she’s being pet, and her lively eyes just invite interaction. Off leash in a pen she hops around exploring, chasing a toy, and from time to time her friendly energy gets the best of her and she jumps up in her excitement about everything. I had to leave our pen for a minute and when I returned, Queen was waiting patiently and quietly for my return and welcomed me back like I had been gone forever! In group with other dogs she approaches and greets politely and solicits play with her paws. I watched her play with a male dog and she kisses, plays and enjoys it all. If an energetic little girl is what you’re looking for to complete your family, Queen is hoping you’ll stop by to meet her today. She’ll gladly give up her title for the right person or family.
Another volunteer writes: I always see other animals in our dogs. Queen was no exception – she’s a little piggie! But not just any pig – I think her spirit animal is the QUEEN of all pigs, Miss Piggy! She struts when she walks, she knows she’s beautiful. When I sat down to pet her, she jumped into my lap and snorted up a riot! Though she’s hit a rough patch in life, her fur is still puppy soft and she smiles when she gets belly rubs. She just wants your love, and has plenty to share in return. Come meet Queen today!
