A volunteer writes: Looking like he was painted by the finest old world Masters, Preston is stunning! His gray/hazel eyes match his coat, he has a smattering of freckles across his nose, and he’s simply perfectly gorgeous! Happy to be leashed for a walk, he uses the “facilities” the moment we’re outside. He pulls hard on the leash so will benefit from a harness and/or some leash training. In the backyard he loved tossing around a plush toy, bringing it over to me for a game of tug in which I happily participated. He’s so much fun! Tail waggy and super friendly, Preston showed off his ‘sit’ in exchange for a treat, and came in my lap for some kisses. In group play he greets politely, is social and engages in running play with playful dogs, and respects the not so playful ones. Handsome Preston likes company and may enjoy the company of another resident dog in his forever home. People who are home much of the day are a plus too! Our rockstar aced his behavior assessment indicating he’ll be a good fit in most homes. Yours?
