A volunteer writes: Prescott – what a perfect preppy name for this pup! As he trotted to the park, I could picture him out on the town with his new owner, rocking matching bow ties. Prescott has such a unique look – super long dachshund body, polka dotted ears that bounce gingerly as he jaunts. He’s a real head turner. But don’t think he’s all looks and no personality – he’s so loveable and friendly. At only 10 months old, he’s the best of both worlds – still a wiggly puppy but one who knows how to walk politely on a leash! Prescott would love to get dressed up and go shopping with you, or just lounge in the park for awhile. Come meet this friendly boy today!
Another volunteer writes: This adorable little imp of a pup is so tail waggy and friendly you just want to scoop him up in your arms – and I did!! He loves to be carried, burying his head in my neck, peeking out to give me some kisses. So cute! He’s housetrained, good on the leash, does a little dance for treats which he takes gently. He seems to like other dogs, tail wagging happily as others approach at the gate. A sweet little guy who aced his behavior assessment indicating he’ll be a good fit in most homes. Maybe yours?
