09/19/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Po is a young girl who would fit in any setting. She is a good pup all around who is with us for no fault of her own. No dog her size and is allowed in her new dwelling..She has proven herself to be quite a good pet, coexisting happily and peacefully with young kids and two Yorkies. Her former owner has only great things to say about her, the main ones being that Po is friendly and quiet… Quiet…we so love that word….with our kids and our pooches…Po was bought on the street at the age of four month. Her family took beautiful care of her. She is healthy, petite, well balanced and wears the most lovely and silky little black dress (every girl or woman should own, I was told). Po is leashed in an instant, sitting right in front of her kennel door. She walks beautifully and relieves herself as soon as we hit the street. Her tail wags non stop, her eyes are so sweet, her little face so adorable. I forgot the one ear up and the one ear down. Po is very obedient and sits at once as I command. She takes treats very politely from my hand. Lap dog.. Do not mention it! She can compete with the best in the field…. Wow! Po is one GOOD puppy, well brought up, friendly, sociable, affectionate and even playful with the ball. I know she will ease in like a dream with any type of family. Come and meet Po very soon. This babe, only eight months of age needs a home and the love of a master. She is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center.
