Medical Summary 10/01/15 13:26 microchip scan negative laceration of the left vaginal wall with chronically prolapsed tissue recommend new hope placement with 6 pm deadline

RE-EXAM (10/01/15): scan neg, HW neg, vaxed, deworm in food, female intact dog, 4y.o. with moderate tartar,Presents as prolapsed vulva – very painful – not able to thoroughly assess without sedation. PE : H/L wnl for anesthesia, Telazol 0.1cc – ET tube -Iso gas maintenance
Under sedation – Not run of the mill prolapse – tissue laceration of the left vaginal wall with badly dry prolapsed tissue of the L vaginal wall – hematoma vs. soft tissue mass no lnn involvement
When hair clipped- small masses 1cm x1cm in 2 mammary glands (cystic structures vs. MGTs) no lnn involvement
Vaginal wall was sutured together using 3-0 absorble monocryl. urethral oriface seen and should be patenet for urine flow.
A: vaginal laceration sutured, not spayed, small mammary masses – palpate as cystic mammary tissue from previous hyperplasia mammary tissue from having litters vs. MGT
P: 100 cc LRS x BID 10 d, 0.33cc PPG IM – clavamox 62.5 mg PO BID 14 days, 0.1 cc Rimadyl SC SID 10d, Buprinex – 0.18cc SC BID 10d, check urination while at ACC
Px Guarded — workup needed for spay and two minor lumpectomies with Bx of very small mammary masses.
Meet Piper: Piper needs local placement and veterinarian care by 6pm tomorrow, 10/02. She has vaginal prolapse as well as mammary masses and will require a workup for spay and two minor lumpectomies with a biopsy of very small mammary masses. Piper has a lot of love left to give, help get her back on her paws!
