PROFILE:
Peppy A1051841 is a 6 year old poodle mix. Owner received the dog from a friend who passed away 4 years ago. the main reason for surrender is that the Owner cannot afford to properly care for Peppy, vet bills and grooming. Owner has not been able to take the dog to a vet.
SOCIALIZATION: Peppy is super friendly with strangers. He only lived in an adult only home. he plays gently with adults. there are no other animals in the home. He has never bitten or scratched anyone.
BEHAVIOR: peppy does not have any behavior issues. He is fearful of loud noises. He is not bothered if you touch his food bowl, water bowl or toy. he is not bothered if you hold him. He does not allow you to bathe him because one time a groomer cut him on the side accidentally.
FOR A NEW FAMILY TO KNOW: Peppy is very friendly with strangers. He has a low activity level. he loves to play when he can. he was kept mostly indoors and slept on a doggy bed. He eats Pedigree wet food. Peppy uses wee wee pads in the home. He is never left alone. for exercise, he would play in the home.
BEHAVIOR DURING INTAKE: Peppy was very sweet during intake, allowed all handling.
