A volunteer writes:Some girls have it all – the beauty, the brains, and the charm… and Penny is one of those girls! She is petite and perfectly spotted – her mouth even looks painted with lipstick! She loves to scope everything out, but is still attentive and responsive; frequently making soft eye contact with her beautiful amber eyes and wagging her tail at the sound of my voice. Her previous owner reports that Penny spent last summer living in a yard and it seemed to undo the housetraining she received. However, since she has been at the care center, Penny keeps her cage clean as long as she can and “goes” outside, so I suspect with a crate, a routine and some patience she’ll be back to being accident-free. Though in her past life she was not playful with dogs, Penny has been participating in playgroups at the care center and sometimes seems excited when we see others on walks. With people she can be a little bashful at first , but quickly warms up to be incredibly affectionate. With just a little bit of petting she’ll fall into a prime belly rub position, get up and have the zoomies, only to come back and topple over again! She has lived harmoniously with children, too! Penny really has such a soft personality and is so, so sweet – could she be your new cuddle buddy? Please come meet her at Brooklyn ACC!
