A volunteer writes: PB (for short) was watching me from her upper kennel, quiet and contemplative. I promised her she would be my next walk, and when I unlatched her kennel she stood up to be leashed wagging her tail. As I lifted her down she gave me a big kiss and I knew we’d be great friends! She’s an awesome little girl, too thin, in a coat the color of peanut butter, thus her name. Showing off her housetraining skills as soon as we were in the backyard, PB then wags her tail in friendship at dogs in adjoining pens, is playful, fun, affectionate, and everything a puppy should be. Her feet show the signs of being crated for far too many hours and she’s looking for a home in which playtime, loving time and kissing time is all the time! I gave her a sponge bath and she stood quietly as I hosed her down and wiped off some schmutz. And of course, she gave me some kisses as I was leaning over her. Friendly, playful, bouncy, affectionate she’s a little girl looking for a new home in which she’ll know nothing but love. She’ll return it tenfold as that’s what dogs do. Lucky is the person who gets to offer Miss PB a lifetime of love. Are you the ‘jelly’ for our Peanut Butter?
