10/28/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Peanut? A tongue in cheek name I would say, as our Peanut is not a Peanut….a Cashew maybe, or a Walnut….but he’s too big to be a peanut! He’s gorgeously grey and white, his coat is well groomed and his weight perfect for his size. Willing me to him with his sexy smoldering eyes, I couldn’t resist taking him for a walk. His leash manners are good, he’s likely housetrained and as we head to the backyard he wags his tail at other dogs we pass. Off leash he explores the pen, isn’t interested in treats or a toy as he sniffs to learn to his environment, and then comes into my lap for some snuggles. In his first group he was a bit selective and didn’t really engage in play which is in keeping with his overall personality as he adjusts to this new and sometimes stressful environment. Peanut is gorgeous, old enough to not engage in puppy crazies, and young enough to enjoy playtime, good exercise and lots of snuggles.
