A volunteer writes: When staff asks me, “Have you met my girl yet?”, I know I need to pay attention. And, I’m so glad I did! Joining us with Lady (A1039065) and bearing a strong family resemblance, Paprika is a bit shy at first but nonetheless we had a great walk to the park. She’s gorgeously groomed in a shiny coat, her leash manners are lovely and we (she) attracted a lot of attention. I wanted to nickname her ‘sparkplug’, as she’s short and stocky and square – she’s too cute! She has the best walk, her back legs swinging gently from side to side making me start singing that old classic made famous by so many singers: “A wiggle in her walk and a giggle in her talk. They’re gonna make that world go ’round. Ain’t nothing in the world like a big
eyed girl.” In group with other dogs she’s already a star, being described as “playful”, “rough and rowdy”, “social” and excited to play. Low key and gentle with her humans, Paprika gives a soft kiss, and was happy to be off leash in a pen. Come meet our little sparkplug today and make her yours!
