Behavior:
Oto walks calmly on leash. He was stiff and did not show social behavior during the assessment. Oto doesn’t like his head touched, he didn’t allow the behavior team to collar him (growls and shows teeth). Oto also was difficult to place him back in the kennel. Due to the behavior demonstrated in the shelter the behavior department believes that Oto is not an appropriate candidate for SAFER at this time.
Enrichment notes:
Enjoys outside walk, loose and wagging tail. Seemed very at ease. Tensed a bit going back in. Very sensitive in the neck area and whimpered when the leash tightened. Food motivated.
