During the resources portion of the assessment Oscar was easy to handle when engaged with the food, but was not interested in the toys or rawhide items. Oscar can be a bit shy when interacting, but quickly warms up and was social. The department feels Oscar can be suitable for an adopter with an average amount of dog experience, and it is recommended that interdictions are done slowly and Oscar be given the opportunity to interact at his own pace.
