Sweet senior Oreo is truly in a class of her own, her breed mix may be a mystery but if I could invent one for her it would be purebred Dumpling! Left to our care when her owner fell ill, there’s no denying the fact of Oreo’s obesity but she can still get around just fine and once she’s shed some of the weight who knows what happy energy may hide under those excess pounds? Oreo is a true family dog and previously lived and played gently with a young child and a cat whom we’re told she treated like her baby — how adorable is that!!! A little shy (she’s lived her whole life indoors, after all) but extremely easy to handle and dog-friendly too, Oreo did a stellar job on her behavior assessment and would make a wonderfully low-key companion for any home where she’ll be given all the attention and loving she deserves. If your favorite hobbies include quiet times, slow walks and snuggling then here’s the girl for you, come into our Manhattan Care Center and ‘take-out’ your own delicious dumpling today!
