11/13/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY
Exam Type BEHAVIOR
Omicron was difficult to remove from his kennel showing teeth and growling. Once he came out he walks calmly on leash. He was not sociable, and was more interested in the surroundings than the handler. When the assessor tries to click the leash on his collar Omicron became uncomfortable and air snap at the assessor. The behavior team decided to skip the handling part of the assessment for safety reasons. During the resources Omicron snapped at the assess-a-hand during the toy. The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Toy 4. Dog snap
