I came in the shelter as a STRAY on 08/01/2015 from NY 10462, owner surrender reason stated was STRAY.

08/02/15 09:15 Basic Information Omelette was brought in as a stray by police, after officers responded to a call about a dog roaming loose in a building.Officers say Omelette growled at them, when they attemoted to remove him from the building. Behavior during Intake Upon intake, Omelette was immediately taken to medical for observation.

08/05/2015 BEHAVIOR EVALUATION – NH ONLY

Omelette pulls a bit on leash. She was sociable toward the handler during the look and sensitivity test with a soft body, wagging tail. Omelette stands on her ground, growled, snarled to the assessor during the tag test. We decided not to do the squeeze part of the assessment due to Omelette behavior. During the resources She growled and bit the assess-a-hand (food, toy and rawhide). The behavior department feels that he would do best if placed with a New Hope partner who can follow up on this behavior in a more stable environment and can provide any necessary behavior modification before placement into a permanent home. Look: 2. Dog pulls out of Assessor’s hands each time without settling during three repetitions. Sensitivity: 1. Dog stands still and accepts the touch, her eyes are averted, and her tail is in neutral position with relaxed body posture. Dog’s mouth is likely closed for at least a portion of the assessment item. Tag: 5. Dog stands her ground( growls) Food 5. Dog tries to bite. Toy 5. Dog attempts to bite Rawhide 5. Dog attempts to bite When off leash with other dogs, Omelette is nervous, but will greet briefly once inside the pen. She is tolerant of interaction. 8/4 update: Omelette is a bit nervous, but will approach and sniff the other dog.

When off leash with other dogs, Omelette is nervous, but will greet briefly once inside the pen. She is tolerant of interaction. 8/4 update: Omelette is a bit nervous, but will approach and sniff the other dog. 8/5 update: Omelette greets politely but is more interested in exploring her surroundings.
