A volunteer writes: Nothing tears at my heart more than a scared puppy, and Olympic, who has been gorgeously taken care of, is scared in this new noisy place. Shy in his kennel he needed some coaxing to come out for walk. It took some bribery and some hugs to encourage Olympic to come for a walk on the street but when he finally decided it was safe he showed off nice leash manners. Olympic is the perfect weight for his size, his beautiful latte color coat is clean and groomed, and it would seem that someone took very good care of him before he joined us. His eyes match the color of his coat and they meet mine with sweetness and concern. He shyly gave me some kisses after a while, enjoyed a treat which he takes gently, and I knew our friendship was cemented. In playgroup with other dogs he was tolerant and a bit nervous, but greeted others and then watched the activity. Olympic needs a safe and loving home to open up and show you his full potential. I look forward to seeing him again as I know that with each passing day he will open up more. But the best scenario will be watching Olympic wag his tail walking out the door with his new family. I told Olympic not to worry that his new family would find him soon……please make my promise to him come true. Ask to meet him today.
