09/14/15 13:56 Behavior during Intake: Nilla had a very wiggly body and was wagging her tail the entire time, she gave kisses and jumped up. She knew how to sit and go down on command. She also took treats gently out of my hand. She showed no signs of aggression.
09/16/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Looking every bit like a vanilla wafer, Nilla is the perfect name for our girl. She’s a chunky mama in her light tan and white coat who likes treats and gives me a perfect sit in anticipation of her reward. Showing off her housetraining skills the moment we were out the door, we then head for the park. Nilla pulls slightly on the leash, but is easily managed, and the only real pulling she did was towards the squirrels in the park who are busily collecting and burying their food for the winter. Off leash in the yard she loves to snuggle with her person, leaning in as close as she can. As other dogs pass our pen she wags her tail in easy friendship. Nilla has a sweet, fun and easy personality, happy to be with her person for some cuddling, wagging her tail the entire time. She loves to smile, and we’d love to see her smiling and wagging her tail as she walks out the door with her new family or person. Ask to meet her today.
