A volunteer writes: What an impressive name for this little dude. Batman and Robin…..Robin became Nightwing at some point….OK – I don’t pretend to understand it all, but what I do understand is that our Nightwing is a pretty special little guy. Just read all the comments volunteers have written on his kennel card: “easy and gentle”, “too sweet”, “a pleasure to walk”, “great pup” and more. His leash manners are indeed lovely and it’s easy to see why he’s the ‘go to’ dog when volunteers need an easy dog with whom to spend time. He’s handsome in his brown and white pointer coat, gives sweet kisses after joining me up on the bench, and has an adorable side saddle sit when he sat for a treat. He’s a bit camera shy, turning his head each time I pointed the camera at him. I wanted to capture his sweet smile and sparkling amber eyes. In play group he greets and sniffs, is tolerant of others and accepts correction if needed. Quiet, low key, unassuming and just happy to hang with his person, Nightwing rocked his behavior assessment indicating he’ll be a good fit in just about any home. Small, gorgeous, and “chill”…..come meet him today.
