ZOLA aka NAEELISHA – A1047116

The first thing that meets the eyes is……..her eyes, two fiery lights beaming right at me. Eyes are said to be the windows of the soul  and the doorway to the heart…What secret do they hold? I have to know. I have to take Naeelisha out. She is shy in her kennel but responds to gentle coaxing. She walks slowly and hesitates to enter the yard where  some barking can be heard. Her hackles go slightly up..What’s going on? She is not sure. With some petting, Naeelisha moves forward, does quickly her business and settles leash free in a pen. She is pacing. She does not want my treats although she ate all the food in her den.. She does not play ball.  She cries often and even more when I pet her. She is complaining to me..Help me, help me …Where am I? Where is my family ? Naeelisha is quite a pretty girl dressed in a shiny ebony coat . She seems to have been well cared for.  Could she be a run away?  She comes when I call her and sits her back to me, one foot away. Progress, little baby steps….More caresses. She is coming closer. Naeelisha needs a little bit more time, may be some playgroup time with other dogs to boost her morale…I am looking forward to meet her again and hope that soon enough, lovely Naeelisha will find herself, loved again.
