A volunteer writes:   Who’s that hunky dog over there?   Musiq!!  He’s a big bruiser of a ‘looker’ with the personality and demeanor of a big mush!  In his arrival kennel letting me know he needed to go out, I leashed him easily and headed out.   Peeing endlessly tells me he’s likely housetrained and off we go to the park.  His leash manners are a delight, and having this handsome big boy by my side is a pleasure. Stocky, handsome and easy, we stop for some pictures, Musiq showing me his ‘sit’ in exchange for a treat which he takes so gently I can barely feel him on my hand.  He smiles and poses for the camera and I’m in love!  Walking back to the shelter we stop to talk to two men who wanted to meet him, Musiq quietly wagging his tail and making friends as they pet him.  Greeting the kenneled dogs we passed on our way inside, as if reassuring them that they too would go out soon, Musiq continues to show off his gentle nature.  Greeting other dogs in the backyard pen he’s easy, gentle and chill.  With his head in my lap for some petting, he closes his eyes as I massage his head, totally giving into the moment.   Perhaps named after the American songwriter whose style combines many different types of music, Musiq proves he’s appropriately named as he combines stocky good looks, with a quiet, gentle and calm personality.   Hoping to meet his forever family quickly, he’s waiting for you to sing out his name.  Do it today.
