A volunteer writes:
I can’t help laughing over Murri’s serious little face, goofy ears and huge eyes, he reminds me so much of Dobby the House Elf from Harry Potter that I half expect him to bark out ‘Master has given Dobby a sock?!!’ Murri may be an older guy but like many small dogs, those years weigh lightly on his tiny frame and once off leash he’s keen to hippity-hop around the backyard, taking care of his business promptly and wagging a happy tail whenever I talk to him. In playgroup he greets other pups politely before setting off to explore on his own and for a timid wee thing of less than 13 pounds he performed admirably on his behavior assessment too, earning great scores on everything from handling and playing tag to sharing his food and toys. Due to some pretty standard little dog fearfulness, Murri is recommended for an experienced home where he’ll be given the time and TLC he needs to settle into his new routine but once he does I’m predicting many happy years of fun and snuggles to come! Will you help Murri become a ‘free Elf’ and give him the precious gift this sweet senior has waited so patiently to receive? All he asks is your love and a home to call his own…
