A volunteer writes: Like the star in the Disney movie Mulan, our Mulan is indeed brave, finding herself in a strange new place full of sights and sounds that she doesn’t know. Very quiet in her top kennel, she surveys the area, looking up at me as I open her door. I lift her out, put a coat on her and out we go. She’s likely housetrained and as we head to the park it seems she’s not comfortable being on a leash as she keeps her tail tucked. It’s the backyard where she thrives!!! Taking her coat off so I can admire her gorgeous sleek and shiny coat, her tail wags as she rolls in for hugs. In my lap she puts her paws on my shoulders for real leaning in close full body hugs. How sweet is that! Petite, stunning with eyes the color and sparkle of amber gemstones, she is a total delight. Mulan chases a tossed ball bringing it back for another throw, tail wagging, eyes alight with fun. I am head over heels in love with this little girl, and once you meet her you will be too. Be sure to meet Mulan when you visit.
