A classically handsome face, a top-tier collegiate name and the refined and easy-going manners of a gentleman – surely Morehouse should be sitting pretty on a velvet cushion somewhere, not down-and-out on the mean streets of the city? Who knows what sad turn of events led him to our door but if anyone can spin the straw of abandonment into gold it’s this guy! He’s already got adoring staff and volunteers wrapped around his little paw and his qualifications for being the ideal pet are impeccable. Morehouse aced his behavior evaluation with near-perfect scores across the board (clever boy!), he’s affectionate and well-behaved, great with other dogs (did someone say party?) and naturally, he takes treats with only the softest mouth. Behind that serious face lies the happy heart of a wonderful, loving and loyal companion. Come on into our Manhattan Care Center and give Morehouse the helping hand he needs to leave his stray days behind and graduate to a bright new career as a beloved member of your family!

What an ironic name for a dog without a house, but we feel sure if there is grace in the world he will have one before we’re even done writing this bio. Whatever you are looking for in a dog, Morehouse is it. Patient? Check. Gentle? Check. Loving to all he meets, glorious on a leash, amazingly handsome, apparently housetrained…need we go on? We know we don’t because you’ve already come to swoop this spectacular, spectacular, spectacular dog up!
