A volunteer writes:

Our little friend Moose needs so badly a good and warm coat as the winter is coming….Indeed, he lost his own as his former owners did not care for him too much…Not enough healthy food or may may not enough food all together, life in a crate(look at his little web feet..) and who knows… but probably not enough love for a puppy to growth properly… Moose is a bit shy in his kennel and I have “to go and get him”. My arms are a safe place and he seems to feel good tucked in tightly against my chest. I put him on a bench on a clean and white blanket…He wriggles like a fish out of the water. He so much wants to go down and run around..Should he, should he not ? A big dilemma for such a tiny bean….The temptation is too strong. He jumps down… Moose needs to explore, pushes the tennis ball with his nose, eyeballs a big boy next door(I want to be like him when i grow up) and then comes back to me for treats that he adores, of course. Moose is quite comfortable now and is ready for a stroll. He voids, does his business and is ready to go back to his kennel for a good night sleep, dreaming of course……of you, his new master or family, the lovely dog bed waiting for him and the giant bone you have bought for him, your new forever best friend. Moose is waiting at the Manhattan Care Center..
