Momo is a 14 year old male white Chihuahua/Pomeranian. He is being surrendered because his family has been displaced from their home. He has been with his family for 5 years.
Social life and personality
Momo lived with 3 adults and 2 cats. Momo did not live with children but owner reports he is quiet and tolerant with them. Momo is tolerant of cats but does not engage in play. Momo goes on leash walks but eliminates inside on newspaper. When encountering other dogs on the street Momo tends to be indifferent.
Momo does not guard his food, toys and treats but will cover them with his paws if he wants to keep them to himself. Momo enjoys a bath and does not mind being held.
For a new family to know
Momo knows the command come. He likes stuffed toys that he will throw around and then discard. When the family is home he likes to be where they are, when he is home alone he is well behaved. Momo likes wet food.
Upon intake Momo was quietly receptive to introduction. Momo was loose for all handling and counselor was able to scan for microchip (negative) photograph and collar. Momo is an older dog and walks slowly but well and is receptive to petting and being picked up.
