A volunteer writes: Resting quietly in her kennel, Minty (for short) stood up as I unlatched her door. Stepping out gently it took some coaxing to get her to come outside with me. Treats as bribes work wonders and off we go to the park. Her leash manners are lovely, and her taupe color coat shines with good care. She’s gorgeous, friendly, sweet, calm and low key. She’s a big girl who sits when I ask her to, gently takes more treats from my hand, and poses for pictures like a superstar. Soft eye contact and a big smile makes my job taking pictures so easy. She ignores other dogs we pass, and gently greets another dog through the backyard fence. Off leash she and I “hang out” and her calm and easy demeanor make her the perfect companion. Our gorgeous girl is looking for a new home in which snuggles, easy walks and lots of love happens every day. Ask to meet Minty today.
Another volunteer writes: Laying peacefully in her kennel Mint Tea looks up as I unlatch her door, her tail wags gently and out we go. It’s raining so we head out back, she goes potty first thing and then we hunker down. Her tail wags, she gives kisses, she explores….all in her low key, gentle and unassuming way. As a staff member and I talk, Mint Tea gets vocal, joining in on the conversation and making us laugh. It’s nice to have a dog around who has an opinion and isn’t afraid to express it. Too funny! Gorgeous, gentle, well mannered and easy, Mint Tea is spayed and ready to come home with you. What an awesome addition to your family. Ask to meet her today.
