06/13/2015 WEB MEMO
A volunteer writes: Don’t be fooled by that notorious name, our Mike Tyson is one of the sweetest, friendliest, most well-behaved guys you could ever hope to meet! It’s no exaggeration to say he’s a true gentleman from head to toe and practically perfect in every way. His beautiful looks garner compliments from staff and public alike but it’s his affectionate personality and great manners that really make Mike stand out from the pack. He knows how to come, sit and shake a paw on command and he plays an amazing game of fetch, waiting patiently for a toss of the ball then returning immediately to my side where he either drops it or lets me take it right from his mouth. He’s lived in harmony with his baby sister Bella (A1039386) and seems to love other dogs of all shapes and sizes, running to the fence to greet them with a big smile and a happy tail and though he does pull a bit on leash, his house training skills and responsiveness to my voice make him a great strolling buddy too. Mike’s not a lap dog but he loves to be loved on and really enjoys a full-body massage, sitting peacefully at my feet and leaning waaay into my legs for petting and I could easily see him whiling away a lazy summer afternoon just chilling out with his new family. All this and he’s already neutered too! Naturally, this good boy rocked his behavior assessment with perfect scores on everything from handling to resource sharing and he’s ready, set and waiting to make some lucky adopter very very happy. Who needs the lottery when you could be taking home a priceless prize like Mike? Meet him, love him and welcome him into your life today and everyone’s a winner!
