He walks in beauty, like the night of cloudless climes and starry skies…Adorable Midnight Sky would inspire anyone to poetry and I find myself serenading him with a few lines of Byron as we snuggle together on a bench and he responds with the puppy poetry of gentle kisses and a softly wagging tail. Surrendered to our care because of the NYCHA ban, tiny Midnight has been around both children and teens and we’re told he was relaxed, respectful and tolerant toward them, though his play tends toward the exuberant. He lived with 2 Yorkie siblings and was gentle and playful with them as well and when sleepy time rolls around he’s used to cuddling up to his person in bed. Out in the yard Midnight is wonderfully well-behaved, sniffing around and greeting other dogs with good manners and as per his former owner, he seems to be extremely house trained, pulling on leash until he finds just the right spot to ‘go’ and thereafter walking like a dream. Midnight is quite serious and subdued at the Care Center and no doubt misses his family but he still loves to be close to people and is truly a kisser extraordinaire! His behavior assessment ‘scores’ are the best possible and his intake notes filled with praise over his affectionate, docile nature. Midnight Sky is sweet puppy perfection and he’s already neutered and ready to leave as your favorite lap dog and most loyal friend.
