A volunteer writes: Meet Metallic, a pup as precious as gold! His eyes look smudged with black eyeliner and his lips traced with black lipstick – he is utterly adorable. He is very waggy and affectionate, but maintains a gentle demeanor. He has good leash manners, seems housebroken, and seems to like other dogs! He was found with another male dog, and regularly participates in doggie playgroup (where he falls into the “gentle and dainty” crowd). I’m sure that when I first asked him to “sit”, Metallic did so and then immediately offered me his paw, but it must’ve been a fluke, as now all I can get him to do is stand on his hind legs like a meerkat! He can do so for a long time, without seeking any support for his front paws – while it might not be what I asked for, there’s no denying it’s cute! In retrospect, I’m sure Metallic wasn’t giving me his paw, but trying to make his way onto my lap. He’s very cuddly and seems to savor the company of his person….and it’s impossible not to savor his, too! This sweet boy would love to meet you at Brooklyn ACC!
