MAXX – A1039250

A volunteer writes:

Maxx is underweight even at 100 plus pounds, a gentle giant in every sense of those words and he has the easiest and quietest demeanor I’ve ever encountered in a Rottie. No one is more docile to handle and though he’s a bit shy and aloof with me, Maxx is very accommodating and never complains about our extended photo shoot (a certain someone refuses to look at the camera!) and will simply turn away when he’s had enough of my petting. He’s happy to see other dogs and ambles over to the fence to say hello and when he hears children in the street his ears perk up at their laughter. Toys are ignored and treats remain uneaten but he sniffs them politely before turning back to exploring the yard and when it’s finally time to ‘hit the road’ I can re-leash him and even wipe off some drool with no issues at all. Out in the street, Maxx is a great walker and seems quite house trained too and when we return to his den he hops right back in without prompting then settles down for a well-earned rest. Young, handsome and sweet as pie, Maxx would make the perfect companion for a laid-back Rottie lover or a dog-savvy family who appreciates the softer side of life, adopt him today and tomorrow you could be snuggling on the couch with the World’s Biggest Teddy Bear!
