Social Life & Personality: Max has been around children and he interacted with them in a gentle manner. Max has also been in the presence of other dogs (large & small) and the owner stated that he interacted with them in a gentle manner. The owner isn’t sure how max would respond in the presence of a cat due to never having one around for him to interact with. Max is an indoor only dog that is house broken according to the owner. Max is described to be friendly, pushy, and excitable with a low activity level.
Behavior Issues: Max has never bitten a person or another animal according to the owner. Max doesn’t have any guarding issues and this applies to food, treats, and toys. These items can be given and taken away with no issues. Max is fearful of grooming agents like receiving a bath, having his nails trimmed, and the brushing of his coat. According to the owner when trying to do these agents he will struggle.
For a New Family to Know: Max knows a few basic commands like sit, down, stay, and paw. He went for slow walks on a leash and this was done daily. When in the home Max is the type to follow you around seeking attention. When left alone in the home Max is well behaved. Max was brought up eating dry food and the brand the owner gave was Eukanuba.
